ON THE WATER
All new for 2011, our just introduced SSi flagship delivers more seating capacity, more storage space and more user friendly extras than ever thought possible at this length. Sterndrive engine options from 260 all the way up to an impressive 320 horsepower allow you to fine tune the perfect performance range for your boating needs. A dry-riding 21-degree Extended V-Plane bottom design feels safe and secure and always in control no matter what the conditions.

A high quality, ultra-comfortable interior design and premium upholstery ensure everyone onboard enjoys the best seat in the house.

An impressive list of standard equipment can be enhanced with key options including a wakeboard tower, swim platform logo mat, snap-in carpet, Premium bucket seats, an upgraded sound system, dual batteries and a transom shower system.

THE SSi LIFESTYLE
Designed for boat loads of family and friends, the 246 is the only SSi in the fleet available with an optional private head. Buyers can choose from a wide array of color combinations on a boat that is at home on lakes, rivers or even in choppy bay waters.

ANCHOR LOCKER
Step all the way up to the brand new 246 SSi. Upfront, the 246 is the only boat in our SSi fleet that includes a bow ladder as standard equipment. Like the transom ladder, a top-rung grab handle makes boarding easy. The forward locker also includes a secure cradle for rattle-free storage of the optional anchor. Note the ultra-wide bow entryway, flush mount hardware and Diamond Lustre non-skid.

BOW SEATING
The forward facing chaise lounge bow seats feature padded armrests and wraparound stainless steel grab rails that are accessible from inside the boat and while pulling up to a dock.

BOW STORAGE
We defy you to find a boat in this size range with more storage capacity in the bow area. The lockers under both seats are enormous and feature molded drainage channels to keep water from penetrating inside the compartment. Forward, the integrated ice chest is by far the biggest in our SSi Series and drains overboard so melted ice never puddles at day's end.

BOW DOOR
It happens all the time. A morning or evening chill moves across the water and you've got some miles to log. Chaparral's solution is a hinged door, not a snap canvas enclosure, that works with the full height windshield to provide maximum cockpit protection.

HELM
The custom molded dash features fog-resistant analog gauges, loom wrap wiring and dual illuminated rocker switches protected by circuit breakers. A convenient glove box with a Chaparral logo is positioned in the middle of the dash when you order the optional digital instrumentation package.

HEAD
The full-sized head features a handy storage cabinet and a fiberglass innerliner for a clean, easy to maintain fit and finish. A standard hanging rod allows neat storage of life jackets and sportswear. Overhead lighting is also standard. Options include a Porta Pottie with or without a pump out and an opening portlight for added ventilation.

INFLOOR STORAGE
Five features set our infloor ski locker apart from all others: 1) The front hinged RTM lid is secure but lightweight and allows one-handed access, 2) a stainless steel shock provides secure support, 3) a molded drainage system keeps water away from your equipment, 4) a flat floor makes access easier and 5) a rubber mat provides welcome scratch protection.

COCKPIT STORAGE
In addition to the bow, console and amidships floor locker storage areas, there's room under the cockpit seats for large items. Notice the richly padded recessed gunwales, convenient stainless steel grab handles, recessed stereo speakers and stainless steel drink holders.

COCKPIT SEATING - STANDARD INTERIOR
The 246 is available with two interior layouts. The standard layout features full wraparound U-shaped cockpit seating as every seat has a full height backrest cushion.

COCKPIT SEATING - OPTIONAL INTERIOR
The optional Easy Step Walk Thru interior features the same U-shaped cockpit seating found on the standard layout, the only difference is the backrest in the walk thru has been removed for easy access. Like it's smaller SSi sisterships, the 246 walkway features a three position flip-up cushion and a floor storage compartment that is perfect for water sports equipment.

WALK THROUGH - OPTIONAL INTERIOR
The starboard sun cushion pad is hinged for easy passage from the transom to the cockpit. Diamond Lustre non-skid, a fiberglass innerliner and a molded cockpit drainage system provides secure footing and easy clean-up at day's end.

TRANSOM COOLER
No matter which interior option you select, there's dedicated storage under the port side cushion for a removeable Igloo cooler that is included as standard equipment.
