These kayaks are designed with performance, straight-line tracking, and exceptional final stability in mind. They have the ability to carry large amounts of gear in the bow and stern watertight storage compartments. Most feature a standard or optional foot controlled steerable rudder to allow quick maneuverability and better tracking in the wind. They tend to be longer hulls with some upswept bow lines enabling them to punch through windier, rougher water conditions. These models are at home on lakes, rivers, bays, even coastal sea kayaking trips.
